The Haleyville Planning Commission held a public hearing at city hall  to hear comments on the proposed subdivision regulations for  Haleyville. The regulations, a 74 page document, was recently  completed by the Haleyville Planning Commission with help form the  Northwest Alabama Council of Local Governments (NACOLG). Johnny  Thompson, head of the Commission, stated that the regulations should  be fully approved within 30 days. The regulations cover any future  sub-divisions that may be built in Haleyville, to include the one  under construction by Bob Masdon on Newburg Road.
